This is a collaboration between two Oklahoma-based artists, Warren Realrider and Taylor McKenzie. Realrider is a multidisciplinary Pawnee/Crow artist, who often performs as TickSuck. His sets include the construction (and destruction) of homemade instruments and harsh textures. Elements of harsh noise, sound art, and indigenous music are blended by Realrider into compositions improvised in response to the location, context, and space of his TickSuck performances. Taylor McKenzie has played in numerous hardcore punk bands and now runs a dance music label called Fixed Rhythms. Together, they are making low-tempo, harsh club transmissions straight from the Great Plains
